  1. At first I was a little confused why the United States wasn't listed on your map. Then I scrolled down to the bottom of the page and saw that there were multiple pages! You must have put a lot of time and effort into this map, with descriptions on every single point and line you placed. I also really like the timeline layout of the place list (i.e. the map makes much more sense if one just goes place-by-place down the list as opposed to clicking on whatever looks cool on the map itself, as we are prone to doing sometimes). That said, it might be good if you put in a little disclaimer in the map description that says something like, "There are multiple pages (see below)," and, "I've designed this map to be gone through in a sequential fashion using the timeline on the left." It would just make it a little easier to understand quickly what is going on in this already fantastic map. Great job!

  2. Wow, this is a very comprehensive map and it's clear that you've spent a lot of time on it! I agree with the above comment in that it might be helpful to explain the timeline organization at the beginning so the reader knows how to go through the map. I like the focus on the alsarp bed as a sort of case study. There's a lot of information, so that map might benefit from some editing, other than that good job!
